Resources

A Place to Find Comfort, Inspiration, and Practical Help

Healing is a journey, and sometimes a verse, a trusted guide, or a supportive community can carry you through the hardest days. These resources are gathered to provide encouragement and direction for anyone walking through grief or supporting someone they love.

Scripture for Every Season

Comfort in Grief

  • Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

  • Matthew 5:4 – “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

  • Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

  • Psalm 61:2– "From the end of the earth I call to you, when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I."

  • Isaiah 26:3– "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."

Strength for the Journey

  • Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.”

  • Philippians 4:7 – “The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

  • Joshua 1:9 – “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

  • Philippians 4:13– “I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

  • Psalm 119:105– “Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path."

Hope of Eternity

  • John 11:25–26 – “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.”

  • Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”

  • Romans 14:8 – “Whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”

  • I Thessalonians 4:13-14– “ Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."

Joy After Sorrow

  • Psalm 30:5 – “Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”

  • 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 – “The God of all comfort… comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble.”
